With an old vintage soul, I hope you love the salon space I’ve created to reflect some of my favorite things. 🖤 In total, nearly 8 years experience through beginning at Paul Mitchel the School in northern VA, assisting under amazing mentors and stylists in an apprenticeship program at a beautiful salon there, to then complete my licensure back at home in Lincoln 4 years ago. I have a huge passion for helping clients start their journey to healthy hair that they love every day. I love everything curly cuts, vivid color, color corrections and “barely any off” split end trims. I’m a low maintenance girly, I believe that less is more until we find what makes our hair happy, so don’t be shy about a lack of routine- let’s just keep it healthy! 🖤 Outside of salon hours-I’m a momma to my lovely 3 year old boy (also a curly fella!) and two cats full of personality. We love to go to the zoo and spend lots of time with grandparents, cousins and aunties. Josie’s chaos coordinator, chief troublemaker, and the “other stuff” handler. 🩷I have 9 years of experience behind the chair and graduated from Paul Mitchell 🩷 🩷 I am a lover of anything and everything blonde! From grey transitions and lived in blonde, to a bold and beautiful balayage. I heavily focus on hair health and maintenance, and making sure you walk out with the healthiest hair possible. I specialize in long layered haircuts and short textured bobs- with my signature bouncy blowout to send you out the door! 🩷 Outside of salon hours I spend most of my time baking bread and gardening, and hanging out with my husband, 3 year old son, and Aussie mix 1 year old puppy. You can catch us at the skate park watching little man fly around on his strider bike, filling our driveway with chalk art- or attempting to tire out the toddler and the puppy with no luck! 🩷 While I would love to be able to take every walk in available, my schedule just does not allow it most days.
